Common Eligbility Test Haryana : An announcement has been made by the Haryana Government “A Common Eligibility Test will be conducted for direct recruitment of eligible candidates to various Group C & D posts”. Common Eligibility Test Haryana
The eligibility criteria for Group C & D posts has been decided by the commission as follows:
Education Qualification
For Group C- The candidate must have a 12th pass certificate from a recognised board to be eligible to apply for Group C posts after CET.
For Group D- The candidate should be a matric pass or 10th pass to apply for Group D posts announced by the Haryana government.
Mandatory: Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects for Matrics and Hindi in higher standards.
Age Limit
The candidates must fall in the age group of 18 to 42 years on the last date of registration. The upper age relaxation will be applicable as per the norms.
Haryana CET Exam Pattern
There will be 2 sections in CET Haryana Exam
There will be a total of 100 questions in the test and 1 mark for each question will be awarded.
There will be no negative marking in Haryana CET Exam

Haryana CET Score Validity
As notified by the Haryana State Government, the validity of the scores of HSSC CET is 3 years from the date of the declaration of CET result. The candidates can apply for any post withdrawal by Haryana Government within the validity period. CET scores will be defined as the marks obtained in the Common Eligibility Test and marks of experience and socio-economic criteria (if any).
Haryana CET: Process of Recruitment
The candidate has to score a minimum of 50% marks (unreserved) and 40% marks (reserved) to be eligible for the recruitment process. The candidates with their names in the merit list of CET Result will be called by the commission for filling up the vacancies issued for Group C & D posts. The commission shall seek the candidate's consent on their selection for the requisite posts. The criteria of shortlisting the candidates are based on the below factors:
- If the vacancy is less than 30, then the candidates called will be 5 times the number of vacancies.
- If the vacancy is between 30 to 50, then 150 CET qualified candidates will be called.
- If the vacancy is greater than 50, then the number of candidates goes thrice to the vacancies released.
Haryana CET 2021: Key Points
- CET will be held Online/Offline/OMR Based as decided by Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
- The test will be conducted in bilingual languages- English & Hindi
- Anyone either a resident of Haryana or non-resident of Haryana can appear for HSSC CET 2021.
- CET Scores will be valid for 3 years, which means candidates can apply for Group C & D posts that have been released during the time of score validity.
- One time registration process will be carried to appear for CET Exam.
- The candidates qualifying will be eligible for direct recruitment to Group C & D posts.
